I started this website because the old method of finding a house sitter – asking friends and family and co-workers as well as friends of friends– just wasn't working anymore. Whether my partner and I needed a sitter for a weekend, a week or a month, we often had to rearrange our hopes and dreams because we could not find a sitter for our home, our dog and our cat. In frustration, I went online and still could not find what we needed: An economical and, most importantly, a confidential way to advertise for a sitter

All of the stories on the site come from real life examples. I hope that as the website is used, you will email me your experiences as well.
